Quick Roast in the Crockpot Yum!

This is a recipe a friend gave me a few years ago. It is great for busy days when the kids have after school activities like karate, baseball, basketball and more!  It is simple flavorful and moist roast. I love to throw a frozen roast in my Ninja and at dinner time it is ready!

It is so easy and very few ingredients.

Just through everything in the slow cooker and put them on low all day.

Maize Quest Fun Park #IGOTLOST

Our Family had the honor of being invited to Maize Quest Fun Park for complimentary day for bloggers and media. It was a lot of fun and that was much to the kind and friendly staff of young adults. They truly seemed to enjoy their jobs and really made the experience worth coming back again. Maize Quest Park is at a beautiful working farm that is complete with orchards, farm store, delicious bakery ( the hot fresh donuts are worth the hour drive from my house) and of course a fun park full of maizes and family fun activities.
'
This farm is a HUGE BARGAIN too! The $10 admission fee includes ALL the rides! The pumpkins
are $0.75 per pound, but no pumpkin  will cost over $10. They keep the prices low and make it
a great affordable outing for families. It is an even better deal if you are reading my blog, because they gave me a coupon code to share with my readers.

Discount Code for MaizeQuest Park : MQMEDIA14  to get $2.00 at www.Maizefunpark.com

Compare this to Clark Farm which is $9.00 if you include both rides and it does not have the mazes or activities that Maize Fun Park Includes.

Buppert's Farm has a much smaller maze, hayride and pick your own pumpkins. ( I am unsure of the price. )

Go here to compare a complete list of farms you can visit.

They have a ton of activities you can do at the farm! Including Geo-Catching!

Before you can enter the maze they make you watch an instructional movie and give you a flag to wave if you get lost. This is when I began to get nervous about what type of maze we were going into! My son however REALLY wanted to wave his yellow flag and be recused. I was ready more than once, even though my husband swore we weren't lost. (# IGOTLOST). I have been in a lot of corn mazes and this by far was the hardest one we have attempted...

Yes my son was wearing a cape to go through the maze. They are only little once!

Clues were hidden through out the maze. We didn't find them all because my husband insisted he knew the correct way or a trick to get out of the maze. I love him dearly, but he still won't admit #IGOTLOST at the Maize Fun Park.    We went in circles quite a few times until he admitted we didn't have to stay JUST in the blue ribbon section. Please NOTE you DO NOT have to stay in one color ribbon, you must find all the colors in order to complete the mission.

Oh no poor baby girl there are bridges in the maze! There wasn't a warning that the maze wasn't exactly stroller friendly. So if you have an Ergo or other baby carrier, this would be a good time to use it.  We unfortunately had to sneak around roped off areas to successfully get around the bridges.

This maze is huge!

Seriously look at how much corn is in my picture. We were lost in that field of corn ( and fortunately did not see any snakes or mice) .

They had two levels of clues, one for older people and another set of crayon rubbings for the younger crowd. This place would BE AWESOME to leave a group of teenagers without their cellphones. ( The Maize Fun Park does have an app, but you can lose your teens for awhile in the maze if they don't have the app)

They do give you a map, but it is one that needs a decoder that you must FIND in the maze.

or if you are really lucky you may find a map hidden IN the corn maze.

He was really worried we were lost and we wouldn't let him wave the yellow flag to be recused.

They do have a food area, which is priced a little high in my personal opinion. I paid $7.50 for a few chicken nuggets and and small order of  fries. A food we don't usually eat, but it was something we could share. They do have pizzas for $14.00. None of the items on the menu say how many people they feed. We are a small family with 2 adults, a soon to be 7 year old and a 7 month old. (It would be very nice if amusement parks and other tourist attractions had family package meals that said how many people they fed or what was included. )

There is a Fun Zone area near the snack stand that has a pit full of dried corn for the kids to play in and a lot of other climbing items like GIANT tires!

There is another maze made of bamboo. This is a rare picture of myself and kids. (Normally I do not post my own picture or identifying pictures. )  This maze has different stations that has a different color to determine your mood in relation to which finger you pick for each color.

This maze was nice and cool too! It was a great place for the baby to get hungry.
I think my kids may just like me. Sometimes....
