Cover Girl LipBlast

I walked through a major US City dressed as SUPER GIRL last night. No it wasn't Halloween in December, but more on why later. However I used new FLIPSTICK from Cover girl and it lasted all night!

Glade Expressisons

As a lot of you know I love to try new things. I get bored easily and that can be expensive. So it is important to do it cheap! Bzzagent.com gave our family the opportunity to try a new fragrance product. It has been great. They have enough scents that I don't get bored. They aren't overwhelming in scent and yet you still now they are around.

Coral Caverns

Think there is nothing to do in your town? As you may have figured out I am a huge fan of being a tourist in your own community. How many times do you go on vacation, check out the sites and have a great time. Instead of spending the weekended inside your home watching TV or hanging out on the computer, google local tourist attractions! You maybe surprised of the hidden treasures you find in your own community.

On Saturday we decided to visit the Coral Caverns in Mann's Choice, PA. It was a great experience for kids and adults.

The  drive may surprise you, abandoned trains and cars with signs next to each display as you drive up a dirt road to the small General Store.
This is where you buy your tickets, it seems nothing else is for sale. Which means you won't be lured into over priced souvenirs. Instead is more like a museum which many interesting displays.

Of course after purchasing tickets you go into a Cave on a Guided tour. It is a family that owns the grounds with the Cave, so it is only open weekends because they have other jobs. Each member seems to take turns. We were fortunate to have their young son give the tour, he was well educated and impressive in his knowledge of the Coral Cavern Cave History.

And sometimes one of their two friendly dogs accompany you along on the tour.

The cost of the tour is $12.00 per adult, but if you send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to their address they will send you a coupon for a free Children's ticket.

Tourist in Your Own Town-Seldom Seen Mine

Liked to explore? Learn new things? Travel? Limited time or budget? Try being a tourist in your own town! I know a lot of people think that their own town has nothing to do, turns out you may just need to find your ADVENTURE!

I want my child ( and nephews) to remember the fun times with me.  I don't want them to look back when they are adults thinking I spent all my time cooking and cleaning. A clean house only lasts a little bit of time but memories last forever .

My current location is the Laurel Highlands area. Most people say there is NOTHING to do in Johnstown and the surrounding areas. I can prove them wrong and help them do it cheap!

Yesterday I kidnapped my nephews and took them to the Seldom Seen Tourist Mine located in Hastings, PA. It was a BIG hit with all the kids ranging from 4 to 12 years old.  We went  500 feet underground in little coal train wearing hard hats of course!

Fondue night made easy

We love to replicate the melting pot dinners at home. Since we are a small family of three it is easy. Whenever I am preparing a meat that would be great for fondue night I take a small portion and freeze it to make family fondue night packs

Domestic is more than just being Betty Crocker or Susy Homemaker... Personally those two images  and life styles scare me to death.... Though in the "NEW" age of "Domestication parents try to find ways to save money. It is smart no matter what your income...( This crazy chick once attacked me for being frugal because my husband has a decent job. )

I will email companies if I like their product in hopes they will send me a coupon or two.

I emailed Flat Out Bread  and they sent me several coupons including $0.55 and for a FREE product.

Kings Hawaiin also sent coupons one for a FREE product and several $1.00 off coupons.

Another fun way is surveys and product trials. I LOVE to try new things and give input in hopes for better products to make life easier.

This Month I earned $18.00 with Opinion Outpost.

And I also received a $5.00 Amazon giftcard for a random product survey. I let these in my Amazon account all year until December and combine with the amazing Amazon deals.
