Cheap, Easy, Tastey, Semi Healthy

Please forgive how this is written, it is from a St. Anthony's Cookbook. Church cookbooks are not known for being well edited.





Italian Meat Loaf

Meat Loaf Ingredients 
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef ( I use in thethe leanest I can find in the store
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 small onion finally chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce 
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce 
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped (optional) 
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs. 
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp basil leaves 
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup of sauce
  • 2 Table spoons of Brown Sugar 
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1 dash garlic salt 
  • 1/2 cup water

  1. Pre Heat Oven to 325-350 depending on your oven. 
  2. Mix loaf ingredients together and form into a loaf. 
  3. Place in a glass pan like this  
  4. Mix sauce 
  5. Cover meatloaf  with sauce 
  6. Bake for an hour occasionally basting if you remember.
